Event Description
Workshop will cover the foundations of machine learning, building up the background knowledge to fully understand the design and training of neural networks. We will also discuss the strengths and limitations of machine learning in a research context and explore what types of problems it is best suited for.
Audience
Princeton University graduate students, postdocs, faculty and staff; basic knowledge of linear algebra would be helpful.
